What if life were a series of rehearsals, for that one moment, in search of the perfect illusion? What if every encounter was a scene, every memory a script that we played out until we liked it? What if we could meet again and again for the first time? Would we do everything differently than before? In “Tomorrow we dreamed of yesterday”, Unusual Symptoms and Japanese-Austrian artist and choreographer Michikazu Matsune stage a landscape of shared memories and collective imagination. Eight dancers and a ghost search for the surprising connections between their personal stories and the absurd in the everyday, and take us to places that no one but they know. Between dance and storytelling, songs and stage tricks, a space is created in which today, yesterday and tomorrow coincide - and for a brief moment, everything seems possible.
