TRYON ist ein großes Ensembleprojekt, das auf den Kompositionen von Kellen Mills basiert. Es verbindet sowohl freie Improvisation als auch komplexen Jazz und klassische Avantgarde mit Popmusik. Das Projekt selbst wurde im Februar 2020 ins Leben gerufen, und existiert seither in verschiedenen Formaten und Besetzungen, und hat zwei Alben auf Double Moon Records veröffentlicht:
Läuterung (2022) mit: Ganna Gryniva, Erik Leuthäuser, Omri Abramov, Toms Rudzinskis
Freaky Squash Baby (2023) mit: Kiki Manders, Mirna Bogadanovic, Erik Leuthäuser, Oli Steidle, Taiko Saito, Rieko Okuda, Philipp Gropper, Jasper Stadhouders und einigen anderen.
TRYON trat bereits beim Nordhausen Jazzfestival, JazzamKaisersteg Openair, Jazzexzess, Ponava Festival, Freakshow Artrock Festival, Donau115 und vielen anderen Veranstaltungen im In- und Ausland auf.

TRYON is a large ensemble project based on the written compositions of Kellen Mills. In general, it combines both free improvisation and complex jazz and classical avant-garde with pop music.
