A modern and inventive documentary film about personal identity and belonging, the bond between generations and the power of big dreams. Together with Yugoslavian-born Fanny (90) and her German granddaughter Alex (30), we go on a journey through the life of two powerful ladies. We talk about female role models, about the meaning of losing home and building up a new existence in a foreign country. The film to break free of social conventions and to believe in dreams - no matter how old you are!
