Synopsis
Four artists of 'Clowns Without Borders Germany' on their trip to eight German refugee camps in Summer 2015. Touching impressions in the German camps; silent tales about extreme experiences; animated paintings of the children telling their own stories and a clown’s show for kids and adults who had to escape from war, persecution and hunger. Four clowns and their task: giving loughter, light and happiness to those who had gone through darkness and hell.HAPPY WELCOME is an extraordinary film about one of the most volatile issues of our time because it’s approach is full of humour, pure humanity and – in the end – felicity.
