CICERO pays tribute to the exceptional musicians ROGER and EUGEN CICERO. In this cinema documentary, close companions and renowned contemporary witnesses weave a dense cinematic web and illuminate on the one hand a genius who constantly reinvented himself - on the other hand an incredible singer who died at the zenith of his career. A film material with two extraordinary biographies of musicians, which reveals a special father-son relationship. A unique musical legacy: ingenuity paired with an unparalleled passion that drove the protagonists back on stage time and again. Overcoming boundaries and pigeonholing shaped the years of their lives: their way of thinking, their actions and their music. Two inseparably interwoven life stories with a tragic and moving ending. Creator and producer Katharina Rinderle began with the elaborate cinematic works while Roger Cicero was still alive. In 2020 they would have celebrated their 50th and 80th birthdays.
