Synopsis
Do girls really like machos? Do they accept cultural specifities of their partners in their relationships? Which clichés, prejudices and cultural factors affect such relationships between the different sexes? Which different understandings of the roles lead to conflict?Fourteen girls and boys – all of them were born in Germany, but have varying ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds - are talking about their gender roles and the formative influence of society and culture. Which differences and hierarchies are generated by these attributed gender roles?
