P. Tinto's Miracle

Synopsis

Over generations, a long line of P.Tintos have continued the tradition of raising a family and producing communion wafers. As a boy, the youngest P.Tinto knows exactly what he wants to be when he grows up: the father of a large family. He dreams of having hordes of kids that he can watch grow up strong and healthy. But he lacks something. A wife perhaps?

The fact that his childhood sweetheart, Olivia, is blind and as tight-fisted as they come doesn't stop him from marrying her and setting up a home together 15 years later.

A house in the centre of a remote valley where the Northern Express Train passes only once every twenty-five years, is the place where Mr. and Mrs. P.Tinto eagerly await the arrival of their offspring.

But the years go by and no one appears...

Fifty-years later, when they are both past their prime and have given up all hope of parenthood, something happens that changes their lives forever...A miracle perhaps?
