Synopsis

Bosnia and Herzegovina, eight years after the war.
An illegal betting office has been organised – people bet on riding a motorbike through the minefield – Russian roulette the Bosnian way. In a country where the majority of people live below the poverty line, it is really easy to
find “a death driver”.

Biography

Born in 1968 in Sarajevo, Alen Drljevic enrolled in the department of directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo in 1999. During his studies, he directed a few theatrical plays and several short films. With his short video
film DOLCE VITA he won at the Festival of Amateur Film Bosnia and Herzegovina and participated at various festivals throughout the world. The short film PRVA PLATA is his diploma work.
