REIGN OF ROSES
Synopsis
Mentally handicapped youths aged 13 - 19 learn to dance in a 15-week course at their school in Berlin. Professional dance teachers show them how to waltz, tango or to dance meringue, salsa and disco step.Once a week we take part in their pure spontaneity and desire to dance, sharing the little and big steps (forward) towards the final party, called the 'Rosenball'. Here, dressed up to the nines, they dance their way into the summer with family and friends ... dancing is like dreaming with your body.
