Synopsis
They arrived from Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, France, Holland and Belgium - forced laborers, who were taking care of providing supplies for the front during the Second World War in Germany. They worked in munitions factories, produced household products or were working in agriculture. During this period there were around 13 million of these forced employees working for the Third Empire. This experience changed the lives of many of these people forever.For the first time, this documentary looks at the fates of the forced employees after the war.
