Kampnagel - K6

Duration: 18.00-18.45

Event location

There is an exciting relationship between dance and writing that ranges from the (self-)positioning of dancers and choreographers in a culture that has nothing to do with writing all the way to translations of models of writing to movement. Based on selected examples, the lecture seeks to retrace this relationship and the discourses it has engendered. How does the resistance between dance and writing manifest itself? What is so appealing about this shifting relationship that consists in mutual approach and rejection?
