The Compagnie de Chaillot meets two masters of extreme sports: Swiss climbing champion Nina Caprez and highline world record holder Nathan Paulin, known for his spectacular rope act between the Eiffel Tower and the Palais de Chaillot in 2017.. CORPS EXTRÊMES brings their fascinating disciplines to life, delves deep into the motivation and philosophy of these extraordinary adventurers and at the same time shows their fragility and their ability to free themselves in their existential search for themselves. The nine performers escape gravity, form body sculptures and catch each other by jumping. Part of the stage set is a large-format climbing wall, which is also a projection surface for a breathtaking natural landscape. Rachid Ouramdane, director of the Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse in Paris, creates a spectacular choreography centred on risk, trust, fear and softness – and the limits of the human body.
