With epic film images, Hamburg director Sandra Strunz tells the story of the failure of baroque fantasies of nature control and the power of a non-conformist youth. The sound is provided by three top-class singers from different musical backgrounds and the Ensemble Resonanz together with a brass band and a choir from Hamburg.
