Whether visceral or somatic, throbbing or burning, dull or stinging, grueling and all-consuming, or as an almost silent tone of everyday life: we all know pain. This complex sensation, which occurs as a result of a physical or mental injury, throws us back into the loneliness of our existence. In light of a personal experience as a dancer to continuously suffer from physical pain, Akiles began after the shocking diagnosis of multiple sclerosis to think more of his career as the two are closely related to each other. Faced with having to endure days and nights in the midst of excruciating pain, he decides to dance and choreograph in spite of the ongoing pain in order to achieve a better condition.
