She studied philosophy, recent history and ethnology at the Universities of Hamburg and Zurich. She did her philosophy doctorate at the University of Potsdam in 2006 (‘Verletzbare Orte. Entwurf einer praktischen Ästhetik’). She is currently completing her professorial dissertation at the University of Potsdam on the theme of ‘Komplizenschaften – Kollektive Autorschaft in Kunst und Wissenschaft’. Visiting professor/lecturer: F+F (Schule für Kunst und Mediendesign) in the field of visual theory, HafenCity Universität Hamburg in the field of metropolitan cultures, Institut für angewandte Psychologie (ZHAW) in the field of art theory. She is also a freelance curator: projects at the interface of art (theatre, dance, performance) and theory (philosophy, cultural studies), on a regular basis for steirischer herbst Graz (since 2004) and Theaterhaus Gessnerallee Zürich, among others.
